Directions

• Shake well before use.
• Stir or mix bulk products well before application.
• Apply only with adequate ventilation; do not use on energized equipment.
• Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
• Clean the aerosol valve by turning the can upside down and spraying until only propellant escapes.
• Film thickness can be adjusted by thinning with petroleum solvents, although corrosion resistance varies with thickness.
• For very humid conditions, apply CRC 3-36 first to ensure moisture displacement. Allow 2 to 4 hours for solvent evaporation before applying SP-400.

Remarks

Typical corrosion protection results depend on surface conditions and the environment. Expected protection duration is up to 1 year outdoors and more than 2 years indoors. Periodically check the first application for corrosion signs and reapply as needed to maintain protection.
